　　Nicknamed Yoga ,LinwasborninPingtung,TaiwanonJuly1,1987.HeiscurrentlystudyingatNationalTungHwaUniversity,majoringinSportsandLeisureStudies.

　　Duringhighschool,Linwastheleadsingerofarockband,andwastrainedunderarenownedTaiwaneserocksinger,Pei-AnYang(杨培安).Hethenjoinedanotherrockbandinhisuniversityandcontinuedtoperfecthissingingtechniquesand,experimentedvariousmusicgenres.Havingneverparticipatedinanyformalsingingcontestbefore,LinattendedtheKaohsiungauditionforthefirstseasonofafamousTVsingingcontestinTaiwan,OneMillionStar.

　　Inthecompetition,LinimpressedthejudgeswithhisvividinterpretationofSteelRopeWalker(走钢索的人,originallybyJamesLiorQuanLi,李泉).Hisperformancewasthendescribedas enchanting (迷幻)bythehostessofOneMillionStar,MatildaTao(陶晶莹).

　　Despitebeingonlyinhisearlytwenties,Linhasprovenhisabilitytodeliverawidevarietyofmusicalperformances,andhecontinuestoexperimentwithnewmusicgenresandvocalstyles.
